Impacts of Charlemagne

Immediate

There are many immediate impacts Charlemagne made on the world, the major areas were in conquering territory and taking land ownership so that other large powers would start to fear and respect the Franks. Another area he contributed to is in the spread of Christrianity throughout the world, as Charlemagne was a Christian.

Long-term

In the long them impacts, Charlemagne expanded his borders for his son Louis the Pious, and for many more generations to come. Also, the truces that Charlemagne had made in his fighting days would suport his kingdom for many years, as they would help them if they were in trouble.
